Originally the ASF based mr-03 could easily power an ilap transponder via the ICS connector. I heard rumors that the mr-03s (sport) may not have had enough power to reliably power the transponder....

I've always thought a fleet of AAA was big plus. Huge run times and just plain easy to charge and use.
Personally I'd start with Mr-03 RWD plus bearings and allow whatever T-plate as they do...

Back when I raced on carpet, I'd run the same car on both foam RCP and the carpet track. Those where 20 degree rear radials from Kyosho and 30 degree slick fronts. The feel was different of course...
