I think it was only used in the G-10 Pro model. I'm almost certain that all of Tekin's previous ESCs (G-12 series, G-9, original G-10) had an internal Schottky diode, but not the fly back circuitry....

If you want thick circuit boards try a Tekin G-10 Pro. Those things have the toughest looking boards of all the ESCs I've owned. The board is also copper plated to carry a maximum amount of current.
