you might have gotten some turnbuckles that were undersized this was common with a few of the earlier 2.0's. you can just buy a set of turnbuckles from over the counter you will not have this problem...

you could replace the o-rings, and seal the carb whether it be a motor sealer or just hi temp rtv at the base. im not sure if your using the same carb boot or not but i would upgrade to the boot that...

Vspecs are great motors. In my buggy I can run it all day long with good power at 200 degrees depending on the weather, in the truggy it temps around 220-240.

The vspec in my buggy after 3 gallons...

but i like the Associated pipe 2035 the most i use it on buggy and truggy
very close to the TTR 2035

great power all around and can hit 10 minute tanks in the buggy
