i think Mugen ditched their split center diff when they went to the mbx7. That is a pretty popular car without a split diff mount.

Stiffer springs at dnc? Was it high grip? Generally stiffer springs make the car worse in bumps unless the goal is to skip across the top of the bumps. That is Mugen setup territory there.
