Just as a personal suggestion, I would stick with FalconSekiedo due to having a warranty. If you shop Fleabay and many other places, they do not ;)

You sure can run it on 2s. Just run an external BEC and it will be glitch free. I see people do it all the time. Castle makes an external BEC for about 20 dollars

If your swelling the capacitors, its either a poor quality/bad lipo with a lot of ripple in the voltage or a bad connection to the lipo such as cheap bullet connectors.

I only use Thunder power 4s 65C. The capacitors did not swell, blow or leak electrolytes. It was just simply a solder joint that has come loose. The motor is a Orion MR8

Be absolutely sure! That ABC from the esc are going to ABC of the motor. If this was wrong at any point, it’s probably already fried
Unplug the sensor cable for right now...
