Yes, the Ta06 spool. On asphalt track using the Hobbywing 13 turn combo. It was Craptacular. It would veer left or right under power and spin around. A real handful.

My old M03 set up was fluro red springs front (soft), grey or purple springs rear (super hard/ultra hard) ... and hard rear sway bar, no front bar.
That was for tarmac, not sure if it will work for...

It wasn't doing my head in, I still have an M03 and a few round packs that are only slightly puffy ... although having to undo only 8 screws to change a diff instead of the 10 screws on the M03 does...

Have you tried replacing the thrust bearing with a normal 1150 sealed bearing?
The rest of it is built as per instructions, just replace the bearing. That's usually too tight for most people.

For the speed run mini, my best is 127kmh (79mph). That's using a 5.5turn on 4S lipo.
It's a Xevo chassis conversion for the M03/05:

Speaking of bearings, how many of you have tried using part no. 54426?
Those 850 size bearings spin forever ... you need to be running stock M05 plastic uprights front and rear though.

The TL01/M03 2 degree toe in blocks no.53345 ... or as Jim has pointed out the M05 stock rear uprights ... and if you prefer to run the 1050 size bearings, you can use 51238 M03M F-parts.
