It really depends on track size and layout....

It really depends on track size and layout. 2.9-3.2 is possible for larger flowing tracks. Personally I run much smaller, tighter tracks and my FDR range is usually around 3.5-3.8.

Xray has been pretty consistent with releasing their new TC platform around mid November each year so my gut feeling is that its not a new TC platform. I could be wrong though.

Just try replacing the suspension pills. On other brands cars, I've had that issue and the fix was simply changing out the pills for a different set. Not sure if that's the cause of your issue or not...

The M03 is lighter overall by a fair amount, a lot more nimble but harder to drive. The M05 was a lot more consistent. I was always faster with the M03 over the M05.
