it's a white sheet of plastic thats fairly slippery. Most oval tracks use it on the corners to keep the cars honest withour destroying them.

The fact that the powers worked better with VHT/soda and not as well with soda only clears things up a bit. Med/med was not the best on our track sprayed with grape soda pop.

The tire is like a sedan or mini car tire. On less than perfect parking lot tracks, a semi pneumatic tire would be more forgiving than a low profile solid donut.
