10 to 20% drag brake on 17.5 blinky cars for me. It's just to synchronize the speed to decelerate the same rate I release the throttle. For me more of feel and not really to replace finger braking....

Works only if the driver has mastered the skill. Many try it a few times, don't get it right, and say it doesn't work. Took me a year to get decent at braking (i.e. weight shift) :)
