Last time that happened to me I had a leak in my tank. I would pressure check the tank and check or replace the fuel and pressure lines as you might have a small leak.

The hardest part is to get it turning at first. Once you get it spinning it will keep going. So just like the others said it can be tough with a new motor but you should be able to get it to spin....
