Just bear in mind that bodies from rcmaniacs or probodyrc are even slightly shorter than the original they are moulded from.

After the initial success of the LST2, Losi never managed a successful transition to brushless power in my opinion. The early retirement of both the XXL2E and possibly 3XL-E indicate poor sales as...

Yeah, the T/E-Maxx era was crazy! Nothing even comes close, not even the hot crawler/scale segment.
The market was much larger back then. Not surprising to see the industry struggling these days....

Yes, with no doubt the E-Maxx hasn't been selling well in recent years. It's the best selling monster truck of all time, but its height was 10+ years back. In stock form it's been obsolete for years...

True. I'm somewhat baffled by Traxxas. The E-Maxx (http://traxxas.com/products/showroom?f%5B0%5D=field_type%3A247&f%5B1%5D=field_power%3A37) has been discontinued since last summer I think...

For best result, and easiest way, is to bake them in an oven. Watch this video and it shouldn't be too hard.
Mechanical removal is not recommended, nor is boiling.

Sry, it’s not nitro but brushless. Wheelbase is shorter than E-Revo, so I usually refer to it as Revo BL.
I only have Muggy and LST2 trucks with nitro engine.

E-Maxx

Finally got the chassis mounted. Alu skid plates and shock towers makes very good structural support for bulkheads, so I decided to keep stockers for now. Opted for a singel servo steering assembly...

E-Maxx

Here's a truck I bought two years ago, but I have yet to drive it lol. It came very clean and has several key upgrades mounted. What really sweetened the deal was an including Gorilla chassis. Only...

Visually I find the LST2 with stock body shell somewhat odd looking without a proper wing. I also prefer the more traditional steering assembly of the Muggy.

Same here. I tried 5th scale once but landed on the same conclusion; too impractical. Plus I couldn't jump the thing (HPI Baja 5T) without something always breaking. I've kept it to 8th scale ever...

U sold it?

The Muggy was available only for a few years as I remember. Probably cos monster truck racing got very short-lived. Yet they seem to be everywhere (at least around here), and parts are...

E-Muggy

Finally found time to restore my trusty old Muggy last summer. I converted it to brushless years back, and it's been holding up very well, even on 5S/6S power. Losi body shells are as tough as they...

Xirton's Garage

Hi there! I have a craze for bashing, preferably brushless 8th scale trucks. 1/8 is just very durable while also capable of handling deasent terrain; suiting me perfectly.
I've often build my trucks...

I've built the Kruiser as well, but that's something very different. It commands a lot more in order to be durable, and capabilities are way inferior.

Nice conversion. Center diff usually is the way to go.

I've built 4 of the big 5 MTs from the days of nitro; all brushless. They just look so much more MT than the truggy based crap offered today....

60k for the front and rear sounds much to me. You could end up with a lot of understeer. I also recommend a lower viscosity at the rear than at the front, to improve steering.

I presume it's not a...

Wow, nice build fordfreak. Do you have a build thread or gallery?
Is it still an E-maxx or what do you call it? I spot a T-maxx chassis plate and various after market parts. Very nice!

Sorry, I...
