172mm was as narrow as I could get it to go on the 12R6. I pulled it in close to 3mm. If I go any more, the insert would lose its strength. I would need to make new pod plates to make it more narrow....

thanks for the info buddy. They are real simple parts and I can knock them off pretty quick though. I will keep that In Mind though if I need some intricate parts made.

thanks man. The gear diff they made is killer. I just need to machine new ride height adjusters to make it legal. Overdue for that anyway. I want to tighten them up in the pod plates anyway

No problem. Carbon fiber does not cut well with standard end mills or router bits. It needs to pretty much be shaved to prevent delamination. Those diamond flute bits cut it clean with crisp edges....
