Hardwire ESC switch

I have a hobbywing SCT pro. The switch it bad. Has red, black, and white wires. If I leave the white attached, and cut and connect the red and black. Will it be hard wired?

Thanks for the reply. Believe me I went over all of those issues. I replaced bearings, wheel nuts, axle, and put locking hexes and aluminums hubs on. Still doing it.

Yes, first time it happened was the 2.0 wheels. Next 2 times it was with the 3.0 wheels. It is weird.
I'm gonna give it one more try with DE wheels and see what happens

Maybe too dialed....keep blowing rims out, not cool
