The best way I found to prep the SJT tires was just to clean them with sauce 5 min before your heat. Motor spray takes grip out of the tires and letting sauce sit made them take too long to get going.

Making a spring stiffer will support more weight transfer, which generally reduces grip. However, it also reduces roll, which increases grip. Which one plays more depends on the rest of the setup....
