Make sure that all the timing and boost features are turned off and then save it before closing the program. Did you know that you can make any one of those modes blinky just by doing these settings.

If you plug into your P.C and open the Hobbywing program you might try a factory reset before sending the unit in. The troubleshoot page says that sometimes it could be caused by a bad motor.

As stated in another post on your issue, you can turn off all timing functions or back on in any mode. I would recomend recalibrating after changing the mode if you have a problem.

I think your speedo is set in blinky mode for stock racing. If you have a program box switch the mode to a suitable option. Use the second button from the right on your programmer to set the mode.

i run that motor in 4wd offroad and I can tell you my timing is at 43 on the can and you must drop the gear on it. It has lots of rpm. One of our fastest locals runs one also....
