Most of the parts in that kit will work just fine, the major parts (if not all) should be the same as the 2019 e-buggy, cross compatibility is excellent with Xray in my experience, across year models...

I also think it's far better to have the caps mounted directly on the ESC board, HW documents that their benefit depletes as you mount them further away from the ground...

Someone actually documented the issue earlier in this thread.

If you mean using the S.BUS feature specifically, then 1/8 IC Fan is correct.
However if you just mean can you use the Futaba HPS servos with Sanwa receivers, then I believe that should work fine....

I found the FASST gear to be plenty good if you enable+bind the HRS (high response) mode - just need the matching R603 or R604 RX, and any digital servo.
The 4PK should allow you to select this...
