Yes the kit comes with a 84T 48P spur, there's no real advantage to running either but 48P would deal with small stones and debris a little better than 64P when running outdoors.

The 414 is pretty old school and designed way way before brushless and lipo was around for RC cars, not sure if lipo packs fit and not too sure how the drive train would stand up to modified...
