1/8th spins out on brakes...help

I'm dusting off my 8ight-E. Overall it's in pretty good shape, but when hard on the brakes it pulls badly to the right and spins out. I've been checking things like Toe, Camber, and Sag. They all...

My 810e has always been the opposite. The rear gets kicked up by most jumps. I have to get off the throttle just a bit before each jump, then give it a good pull on the jump face, then keep the...

Thanks for the advice on the motors. It seems the Castle 1415 is the popular choice. I have a good condition Medusa 36 x 50mm 3300kv that is a beast on 3S. I'll give that a try to see if I can...

Hey All,

I've been out of the RC hobby for a little over a year. I built one of the early 810e conversions some time ago and was running a RX8 and SC4X 7.5 (3000kv) on 3S. The car was fun, but...

Try 3S and go down a couple teeth on the pinion. I normally run a SC4X 7.5 on 3S and it's quick, but nowhere near the punch of a 4S 1/8 buggy setup. I get a 5.5 on 3S with the right gearing will be...

I run an 810e on 3S with a much lighter motor than a 1900. If I was running a 1900 I'd run 3S and gear it up. An 810e/Ten-Te with a 1900 on 4S would be very very fast for a track. If you are...

Good Idea. I think it's a must for those of us running an 810. The car handles so much better with a 1/8 wing, but the stock wing mount can barely handle the small stock wing. I almost bought the...

When running as an 810e I've found four weaknesses depending on the age of your car.
1. Diff Pins - everyone knows about these if you have an older car, and the ChrisPins are excellent
2....

Supply and Demand. At the end of a work week I assume you expect to get paid. That comes from profit on the products or services sold by the company where you work.

Juicenos,
What size 3S lipos do you run with the Pro4? What "C" rating are they?

I've been running some older 3S 4000mah 25C lipos. They lack some punch at their age and run well for about...

That's good to hear about the chassis differences. IMO the aluminum chassis does act as a bit of a heat sink. It does get warm, but maybe it's not enough to really affect the motor temp.

I do...

Both the SC4x4 and Slash 4x4 don't have Aluminum chassis and don't seem to have as much heat issues as the SCTE. I'm guessing some of the SCTE's heat issues come from weight and others from the...

It seems the new Pro4 motors heat up a bit less than the SC4X. I run a SC4X 7.5 on 3S geared 13-15/40 in my 810e that has a lot less air flow than a SC 4x4, so heat is something I have to look out...

Any pictures or details for mounting the Tekno 8 wing mount on an 810. The 810 wing mount is very fragile, especially with an 1/8 scale wing.

I have an 8T 1.0 that I run on 5S with a Tekin 1700 Truggy motor. It is pretty dang fast and difficult to find traction on loose tracks. I'd opt for the 1550 on 5s for race applications.

Both the Dex and Serpent look really good. I could see myself getting one of them. However, I do prefer single batt pack cars, as that's what I already own and have had better luck with.

My 810e is very smooth. Much smoother than my 8e, which is also pretty good. The drivetrain is not as durable as the 8e, but will be plenty for a road car.
