If I run tamiya fronts my car will push into a wall
If I run Medium Volante it will loop out because those tires have mega mega steering, even more than MS

In my experience when the diff feels gritty or not smooth it is very often the thrust bearing, not the diff balls

But my track is big, almost 200' and we run 21.5

Even same weight wings handle different

large red spacer above the knuckle under the top arm

something else is wrong, maybe axle clamps are in opposite directions left to right or you have no ride height, maybe center of car is dragging from center shock...
