Just grind it down with a dremel. Press the shaft through a clear plastic bag and put blu tac around the hole so you don't get metal shavings in the motor.

You need to shim the diff so there is very little sideways movement with it, which is what causes them to strip. I ran a 7700kv 540 motor and had no problems with the diffs.

Make sure you are in the lipo setting, only in the wrong settings can you change the charge rate with amps. Just set it to 5000mah 4S and it will do it's work.

It's a good motor. I ran one in my 1/16 Revo with no problems, should push this easily. Although I'd watch the ESC. The Ezrun 60A would be perfect.
