Adding a body to a European built kit makes for a much bigger box and thus a whole lot more $$ for freight to US. I'd rather have lower kit prices and buy a domestic body. IMO

I'm not taking sides on this one but my personal vote goes to Team Shepherd for design as well as execution. That said the other companies have fantastic products these days.

The PRS and the XRAY pinions fit with no problem...

The PRS and the XRAY pinions fit with no problem but careful if you use the nylon nuts (stock) to locate the battery you may have the battery touching to motor shaft on some motors.
