Yes the manual leaves a bit to be desired. When you scroll through the settings you'll see the data logging features. I never played with them myself so I don't know how robust they are.

I would have to ask him but I believe it's the same parts that you would put on a mod car (turnbuckles, alum hubs, etc. etc.). Nothing that would be put on a 'spec car'.
