I have both the XXXS G+ and the XXX4 G+ and neither have any metric hardware. I do replace stripped out 4-40 stuff with m3 but there was nothing in the box.

The bigger concern is that one pack discharges before the other. The speed control can only cut off when the total voltage is below a limit but it doesn't know anything about the individual packs....

I have been running 78/21 with a 13.5 and I can run 20 minutes without the motor going over 120F. It is a very small track so top end isn't useful. I am using the original fan setup and a Motiv MC4.

I run both a Tekin 2050 and 1900 and both work fine on 4S. I like the torque response of the 2050 better. 2200 might be a bit much for 4S but with proper gearing it could work.

I think the ultimate thing the HydraDrive did was to add rotating mass to the drive train. They were a pain to maintain and liked to leak but they were also a big flywheel which helped to smooth out...
