The M03 is lighter overall by a fair amount, a lot more nimble but harder to drive. The M05 was a lot more consistent. I was always faster with the M03 over the M05.

Well if your car is loose it might not be a lack of rear grip but an abundance of front grip. Try gluing the sidewalls. It completely transformed my car.

I know some people have shimmed the top deck up slightly to help with pinion clearance. Otherwise you'll have to go the smaller spur/pinion route.
