I have the LRP 3600mah in mine. It is getting quite old, but no puffing and plenty of runtime. They are expensive though.

I will keep my M11x. The M12 is just too "MT4-ish" for my taste, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with my M11x. Best transmitter I have ever owned!

I typically just buy clutch bearings for 1:8 off-road. They are a lot cheaper than "true" Tamiya or Xray bearings, and they are often the same size. Just get those with oil instead of grease.

The P37 seems to be a mix of LTC-R and Speed6. More stable than the LTC-R and more steering than the Speed6. But still a bit more unstable than Speed6 and a bit less steering than LTC-R.

Known issue. Some of my co-racers tried 6 different Corally motors, and only one worked with the Tekin. I have heard about a "tape trick", but I cannot remember how it was. Hope someone knows this...

Well, as you said brushed is dead, and it is now brushless. Now the speedo can dynamically add timing to the motor, to make it run a lot faster! Which is why there now is both boosted and "blinky"...
