It sits a bit off the aluminum if you just mill sideguards. ARound 2 mm. So if you want it smack down low as possible you gotta mill. The folds on the sides cause the battery to be above.

haha yeah but the effect of downforce is way more than the weight. I wont last 2 laps with that lexan :) I destroy the plastics every two races weekends :).

the silencer has the most steering, the stock tki3 cab fwd has medium and the tki2 reg cab has least. Can totally feel it....

x2, I glued up my first set couple days back. Best thing ever. No glue on fingers finish is perfect and I don't have to deal with brittle proline premounts, I just use better wheels now :).

:) Yeah I think roar should just open source the firmware and approve that. Cheaper than having $$$ testing equipment etc. Most of the control chips would I assume be the same.

hmm the deceleration is applied at the f/r diffs I suppose. So if one wheels heavier (by mud/water or anything else), it might be resisting motion more than the lighter wheel(or freer wheel).

Torque steer in FWD is because the engine was placed parallel to the axles (and not longitudinal like most RWD and AWD/4WD). The front driveshafts are therefore unequal in length and them spinning up...

For the fronts it seems ok to be at that preload. What shock ends for rears? short medium or long. Most setups run long for rears with stock rb6 rear arms.
