The boards are coated, which does provide protection from dust and moisture. As for auto cell detect, we do not offer it for a few reasons. The biggest reason is that a full discharged 4S pack could...

If it happened after an impact and it's squealing badly it sounds like you either lost a phase in the ESC or a connection at the motor somewhere is bad. Did you try another motor on your ESC to rule...

If the ESC doesn't accept the reverse signal during calibration then the radio EPA is set too low. It looks for a specific signal for full reverse and if it doesn't see what it wants, it won't finish...

I ran 2S setups for 3 years that held up fine, but the high temps and short run time had to go. Going to a higher voltage setup keeps things cooler, prolonging their life and I'm not sure why someone...

Gear it low with a low-ish kV motor and lock the front diff or at least put some very thick diff fluid in it. Having an open front diff doesn't work too well for a crawler.

2S on a 4600kV motor = 36,800rpm
2S on a 4300kV motor = 34,400rpm
4S on a 1850kV motor = 29,600rpm

These are not exact, but roughly show the difference in setups. I landed on the 4S/1850kV...

Higher temps for all components, higher amp draw and less runtime will happen. 4S and compensate with a lower kV motor for indoors, that will yield better results.

Same for 4x4SC, 4S setups are...

We don't make the RS Pro any longer, I'd suggest an RS GEN2 for 17.5 SC or even an RS SPEC for a cheaper option.

If you want to go lightweight, I'd still recommend staying 4S voltage. You can get a 4S 3700 pack that's just barely more weight than a 2S 5000 (and the same size) and run a PRO4 1850kV. I have this...
