Just curious...is it some kind of teflon coating on the gears,as I can't imagine them being run dry,especially metal to metal gears that spin that fast!?
Does the lube not stay on and that's why...

I just posed this question to Mugen regarding what lube to use on the ring and pinion gears of the diffs and he said "none", as the gears have some kind of protective coating on them!!??
