I made similiar front&rear stoppers that the TRF guys use, so just a random servomounts and screws to adjust the gap. In the center I just use wheel weights and tape those in the correct spot.

No need for stiffening the car, i havent tested cut and non-cut top decks back to back on lower grip (in those conditions it should give more traction), but for High grip with traction rolling etc....
