I've always ran Byrons...right now I'm running Gen 2 20%.The track I race at is tight and technical.A couple of buddies use 30% but don't really see any benefit to it....I'm just as fast on the 20%

you need to go down on the pinion to get a lower gear ratio...by changing the spur gear you actually raised the gearing instead of lowering it

you could go with a SC10...it comes as a kit...has alot of tuning possibilities and since it's basically a T4 there is alot of factory team hop ups readily available for it
