A better paint scheme will improve that a lot. Plus I think that narrow nose and overall shape may make it a bit more durable. Unless Kyosho is still using paper thin Lexan.

Any EB48 would not need adapters. They come set up for 17mm wheels out of the box. Also the SCT needs those adapters to push the width out to buggy width. Those shock caps are SCT parts too.

AE and Mugen are the same or very close. Tekno is different. HB used to be quite a bit different, but not sure about the current car. Kyoshso is close to the AE and Mugen. Not sure what TLR has.

I run the rear underdrive every where except for crazy high traction surfaces. Makes it much more stable for mere mortals like me to drive and doesn't give up much corner speed, if any, at my level.
