I'm pretty sure they have an EXPO function, which IMO is a good way to tone down throttle response for the simple reason that you can adjust it from the stand during practice or warm ups.

I'm confused, why do you need to eq before charging? If the Lightning discharges every cell down to .9V (or whatever) surely that IS equalized? Or am I missing the point here?
