An LST2 platform would be a good place to start. It's long enough for sure and will fit a smaller wheel and tire package if needed.

Mine had to be plugged into the fan connector on the ESC to work right. Unplug the fan and plug the box into the ESC that way.

Might I suggest; "regular Joe" performance testing for new prototypes in the future? I'm sure the manufacturers will have enough willing volunteers to crash new products.
