"Unsprung mass" is the term most commonly used. Anytime you can cut weight there.... it's essentially the same as gaining more power. Your motor doesn't have to work as hard.... therefore runs cooler.

They HAVE to stagger the packs if you want to run 2x 2s. Calling it "optimum weight distribution" is just marketing. The 6eco is the exact same way and also equipped with this "special" battery tray....
