I got some of these when they first came in from Les! at MDI...they are really nice. People at the LHS were impressed. Of course, didnt stop me from smokin my P2K, but that is another issue :)

Well, I got her all apart last night and I didn't see anything strange. I put the alloy pulley-holder thingamajigs in, those are slick...though the purple is a different shade then the other purple...

actually....someone was commenting on the drivetrain when I had the motor out of the car...they were handling the car, spinning the wheels, spinning it by the spur...and they commented that it rolls...

Yah, I have been thinking about it...possibly my ESC?
But, the ESC doesn't get hot at all....and from my experience a screwed ESC just acts as a hot box and eventually fails, but doesnt always pass...

I know they get hot, but this is really hot....the other guys at the track noticed it as well...we all though...

When I first put my car together (Mission) I went with the 17tooth pulley, 24t pinion, stock 86t spur. I stuck in a stock motor and it was slowwwww....

When I first had my mission I put it at 17, with a Spitfire stock motor...the car was embarrising it was so slow. Slow off the line, slow to spool up...etc

I switched to a 20t pulley and it was...

I thought that having the shocks upright...

Well, it seems to be the alloy pulley???

I put the stock one back in and it the sound went away...

Anyone have any trouble with the alloy pulley (20t)? You need to CA the sides onto the pulley...

While not a solution, I got an ESC that doesn't have...
