I think Dakotah Phend is known to have some pretty "aggressive" setups, maybe check them out...

However, I've not had a moments issue with them, nothing at all.

Steel is a conductor, while plastic is an insulator. Also, the steel diff case holds more fluid than it's plastic counterpart.
