I wouldn't mind running some touring this winter. Maybe VTA.
Some tracks in the past have gotten a nice crowd going with a spec Tamiya class (TL01, TT01)

It's going to be B4 and GT again. Gas truck is close enough to mod.
I still have the LXT, but it has NXT rear arm mounts and they need a little work.

I suspected Traxxas used a nice servo for the slash. I wouldn't change it if I had one. It's better than the one I started with in the 8ight.

Just for the record, what is the torque & speed of the stock slash sevo?
Does the slash use a servo saver? Those things also limit steering.
Why not allow any servo of equal or lesser rating?

Traxxas must want to ruin any racing that makes sense. Including their own spec class. And they won't compete against other companies cars either. Why not a quality 4WD...
