I run a spool on black carpet, especially when traction is up. You can get the ball diff close by taking balls out of the gear and using cut to fit Traxxas slipper pegs.

The only CRC's that win at the races I go to are driven by Knapp and Dayger. Those two can drive anything fast and have been with CRC for years. I also have beaten one of those CRC's at the Nationals...

I run CRC black carpet. For US black carpet racing, the Roche EVO 3 US Spec is probably the best option, that is if XRay doesn't make a "hard" graphite chassis or an aluminum one.

I won't get one until I see an aluminum chassis as an option. I don't think XRay has had one since the 2019, maybe 2020 car. Until then, I will continue to race the 2018, it still wins races, lol.
