It's similar in dimension to the 1/5 Losi Desert Buggy XL but probably lighter. Having converted a 1/5 to electric, I have concerns the motor, esc, and servo are a bit too small for a 20lbs truck...

That's really odd. I run mine w/ monster truck tires on it and never broke a pin. And nothing puts more stress on a drivetrain than huge/heavy tires.

I had the exact opposite experience and I have the 411 sensored motor. The 3656 is much smoother w/ the sctpro esc and the motor puts out more bottom end than the tenshock.
