Spektrum call their 2 systems DSM and DSM2. The DSM2 is the newer FHDSS version or Frequency Hopper. The DSM2 is definatley far safer.

Yep. No problem running 2 motors off one speedo. If they are both pulling 4.5A tops then a 12-15A speedo will be perfect along with a 700 - 1000mah 11.1v Lipo battery.

You can run 2 motors on 1 speedo. Just make sure you allow a little spare amps for normal manufacture under rating. If your running say 2 20A max motors then go for a 50/60A speedo.
