The V21-S is a new motor and runs a little different than the older V21. I believe that the S comes timed at 42 degrees and from my testing and feedback from others, this seems to be the best timing....

If you want a quick way to set mesh.....what ever pinion you plan to use, go up one tooth. Install it on your motor as usual, but now adjust it so its tight to the main gear, do this so its not crazy...

I would say that depending on how many upgrade parts you have on the X20 it can be on par with the X20'21, but out of the box comparison, the 21 has quite a few upgrades that make it a lot better...

Just got these from Serpent. Looks like they beefed up the steering blocks. Webbing is a little different and the the arm mount is thicker. Subtle changes but should strengthen them up nicely....
