If I was doing drags , Id run 48 pitch spur's . they should handle the power in a straight line with alot of tracksion getting off the line ,, speedo and motor should be a problem ,,

in my experience . spec tires yeld slower laps time then non spec tires / I wouldn't say crucial , butt some chassis run better on spec tires then others , If your car is hooked up and running...

It dose make sense . depending what your looking for .. and track conditions. more straight line speed or corner speed . Ive always run 1degree on the left and right ,a little less depending on track...
