Ditch the traxxas carb....they're junk. Put an OS10d on it and never look back.

BTW: Running higher % nitro makes the engine cooler because you have to RICHEN the needles.

Looking for a MTX-3 tranny (primarily the 1st & 2nd gear housings), or a Kawahara clutch style MTX-2 tranny. Needed for a custom project I'm working on.

The exhaust port limit has been waived for this race for that reason. As long as the rest of the engine is ROAR legal, you'll be ok. There is a discussion about it on the Starting Grid.

Someone here made the MTX-3 tranny fit on their MTX-2, BUT it required a LOT of mods & cutting. Personally, I think it's not worth it. Just buy the Kawahara tranny.

You're right, they were random. I was one of the first to have the MTX-3, and mine came with the 5 port MR12 turbo. I've been told this was a fluke, but who cares !!! All I've seen them...

It won't work. Those 2 radio systems are different "shift". One is positive shift, the other is negative shift (don't remember which is which).
