Losi (or perhaps werks, not sure ) made them years ago, I have one. They are half way between a conventional 3 shoe and a centax. There's very little in it and it's not a PUSH clutch like a centax....

There's not enough room behind the nut for that, but you have given me an idea to drill and tap a small grub screw vertically to lock it. ... bah.. just remembered the spring nut is tapered.

I've never tried, but if there's TOO much gap at the Thrust Bearing retainer end, then you can source shorter ones. (Thrust bearing retainers)
