I dislike nitro so I'll probably stick with...

I dislike nitro so I'll probably stick with electric.

I think for now I might just get a motor/ESC/2.4RX and go with the XXX-s and the CRC bloody Knife until I sort out what to get for the future.

as far as batteries..........a decent 4 cell pack...

as far as batteries..........a decent 4 cell pack will run the lathe at the right speed. Any more cells and it tends to turn the motor toooo fast.

Get some old motors and start practicing.

2-- the trying to use old sodder. If your motor or wire is already caked with soder simply get it hot...

I used black electrical tape or orange vinyl..........once you tape it, it should stay together in onroad........offroad I would use shoo goo to glue so that dirt doesn't get inside.
