I use this Makita. It is definitely overkill for RC cars and it costs almost $200 but the quality is top notch. The auto stop clutch is a really nice feature for RC or computers or anything...

I do not even remember, so it must have not been that important. I had a durango dnx408 and this buggy that i halfway built and them for some reason put both of them up and completely stopped working...

[FS] brand new Tekno EB-48 1/8 scale electric buggy

For sale is a brand new, never used Tekno EB-48 kit. Some of the packages are still completely sealed, never been opened. Only the front and rear diffs are assembled. Roller kit only, no electronics....

The MXB8 eco is 6 months or so away before release, is what another thread stated on here. If you want something now, or within a few months, then i would go with the Tekno.
