It's all personal preference. I like smoother power in buggy, so I'd run the AD2 in buggy (or B2101, which is my favorite), and the Type-R or a XZ-B Spec II (Tessmann 110% silver head) in truggy...

Not sure how I missed this post but I 100% agree - arguably the best engine platform they've ever made. I stocked up on all of the VZB parts because I LOOOOVE that engine. The perfect buggy engine.
