Even the updated manual has issues showing the correct sized ball ends going into the top of the front c-hubs. Make sure you check the blown picture on page 18. On this page the sizes are correct...

You can use the XI/Ultimate knuckles. But...

You can use the XI/Ultimate knuckles.

But you either need to trim down the little triangle:

I hope so, those are the plastic parts for SAK-X15 shocks.
The Ultimate comes with these shocks and i have checked the manual, indeed these shocks have 5.8x10.2 Ball Caps

According to 3racing website you can use sak-08 with the diff outdrives (it's listed as an option part for the ultimate,xi).

About the rear end problems:

I have received pink painted springs as well with my ultimate, and the manual says it's the following:
M1.5 x 13.5 x 25 T6.5 Spring (pink)

So I guess it's 6.5.

I am still in the building...
