mine did the same thing, might be just from break in, after pinch is gone it might drop in temps, im sure a expert will chime in soon to help you out a little more.

i ran axial engines about 4 years ago and they all seem to run hot, mine ran about 260 to 270 all the time, are you getting good smoke out of the exhaust?

try adding another shim, what shims are you running now for break in? what pipe are you using?
