Sounds to me... most likely... he was just on the trottle too much, turned while still in turbo.. and pushed into the wall. either way, doesnt' sound like an issue with the tekin.

If you rotate the back plate all the way clockwise, there is a little tick/mark that you can see lines up wit 0... thats the guy.

That's because you can't run a 6.5 with a tekin...

That's because you can't run a 6.5 with a tekin RS (non-pro) in a 4wd application (b44, touring car, etc). You need to run a Tekin RS Pro, with a fan, and with dual caps.

Yes it's true, and it has been posted (by users AND tekin guys) 1000 times plus on this thread alone. The solder posts are the ESC's heat sink... don't put any shrink wrap anywhere near them or you...

Can't help you with the brakes.

But to get some of your zip back out of the esc, try dropping your end RPM down 1k, or 2k... (something like 4k-11k for 17.5), and maybe bump your throttle profile...
